Who is it for?

Self-employed workers and liberal professions, individuals who travel often, but never more than 90 consecutive days.


Unless otherwise specified in the policy conditions, the duration of the insurance policy is in principle one year and renews tacitly, with the possibility to cancel in accordance with the applicable laws.

Features & Benefits

Assistance and insurance

WBC offers a perfect match between coverages and assistance services. The package includes Medical Expenses, luggage, trip cancellation, personal liability, K&R, personal accident cover and a full assistance package. The only differences between a Silver, Gold or Platinum Card are the insured amounts and
the premium per person insured.

Optional Car Assistance

WBC also offers you the option to insure the assistance of your vehicle both domestically and abroad (the countries listed on the green card). With this you can enjoy: local breakdown assistance, towing in Belgium, replacement car in Belgium and technical assistance and rental car abroad. Not only your vehicle but also you and your fellow passengers will be assisted with the greatest care to offer you the best possible solution.

Family extension

The coverage can be extended to the family of the main insured by paying only a small additional premium. Family members are then covered while travelling together with the main insured or alone.

Unlimited Care

Our assistance centers all over the world provide immediate and effective support you faced with a claim while abroad. The assistance we deliver is an added value to the reimbursement of the medical expenses/hospitalisation costs (significant amount insured, even unlimited in the Platinum Card) and the personal accident cover.

Main Exclusions & Important Information  

  • Intoxication
  • Sports, including training, practised for professional purposes within the framework of contractual remuneration • air sports with the exception of ballooning • alpinism • mountaineering • hiking beyond the passable and/or officially marked paths • big game hunting • ski jumping • alpine ski and/or snowboard and/or langlauf, all practised outside the passable and/or officially marked tracks • speleology • rafting • canyoning • bungee jumping • deep-sea diving • martial sports • competition with motorised vehicles with the exception of tourist rallies for which no time and/or speed standard is imposed whatsoever • participation and/or training and/or preparatory tests for speed contests.
  • Illness and/or injury as a result of an accident, that was not stable during a period of 90 calendar days prior to the date of departure of a journey or for which in that same period medical or paramedical care was set up or adjusted.
  • Dental care with the exception of broken teeth
  • All travelling against medical advice
  • Luggage lost after abandoning / forgetting it or by bad manipulation by the insured and/or beneficiary
  • Strikes announced before departure
